BCCI is enthused about restricting previous Indian cricketers Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid for the posts of National Cricket Academy and Talent Manager, National High Performance Manager and National Talent Manager individually. BCCI secretary Anurag Thakur has been arranging with these veterans. While Ganguly has officially reacted emphatically to the proposition, Sachin has concurred on a basic level and Dravid needs to accept a call after IPL 8. The Board has requested that Ganguly set up a Blue Print on how the Indian group can perform better cricket abroad. Sachin’s part will be that of helping BCCI update the National Cricket Academy from recovery focus to a world-class preparing and exploration office.
