The Karnataka High Court will claim last judgment on the advance recorded by previous Tamil Nadu Cheif Minister Jayalalithaa against her conviction in the Disappropriate assets case on May 11th. On September 27th a year ago, A trail court in Bengaluru has sentenced Jayalalithaa has sentenced Jayalalithaa to four years detainment and a fine of Rs 100 crore for purportedly accumulating unlawful riches to the tune of Rs. 66.65 crore by abusing her powers as Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu. Jayalalithaa and 3 Other Convicts (N Sasikala, VN Sudhakaran and J Elasvarasi) then tested the decision in Karnataka High Court. The case was identified with the period 1991-1996 when Jaya got to be CM of the neighboring state interestingly. With High Court’s decision, This prominent case will reach an end after almost 19 years.
