Chandrakala is the Telugu named variation of productive Tamil Horror Comedy Aranmanai. Hansika, Vinay, Sundar and Andrea expected the lead parts in it.
What is it about?
Madhavi and Murali (Andrea and Vinay) visit their estate for one last time before they closeout it. It is a spooky estate and an extensive number of the prisoners gets executed one after the other in a perplexing way. Madhavi’s kin and Lawyer Ravi (Sundar) tries to make sense of the riddle behind it. That is the methods by which he ponders Chandrakala (Hansika) a guiltless town young person who was butchered in that very house. She was fascinated with Murali before she kicked the pail and Chandrakala needs to get again with him by owning the arrangement of Madhavi.
Shows:
Hansika has limited screen time paying little mind to expecting the title part. She looked delightful in that town young person apparel. We get to see an interchange Hansika who has fundamentally done urbane characters till now. Andrea accepted the imperative part in this film and she is incredible. She attempted her hardest to compel it off. In any case we have seen better displays from performing craftsmen like Shobhana, Soundarya and Jyothika in near parts. Vinay of Vaana qualification played one of the male leads. He is compelled to tunes and few scenes. Sundar did alright. Lakshmi Rai doesn’t run unnoticed with her sizzling showing. Santhanam did his bit on the comic show front. All others have helped at whatever point needed.
On the Technical Front:
C. Sundar’s old formed heading doesn’t fortify much. He did well to keep things streaming despite age old story and screenplay. We expect an inundating film with such setting, however Chandrakala scarcely keeps you enthralled. Screenplay is not significant with exceptionally various popular expressions threw into the record. Music by Bharathwaj is incredible in parts. There is not a ton to elucidate the cinematography and adjusting. Dialogs are not incredible.
Examination:
Chandrakala is a blended beverage of various films that were made in this grouping. Story and screenplay helps us to recollect Chandramukhi and Nagavalli. Sadly Chandrakala couldn’t match the standards of Chandramukhi. It is keeping pace with Nagavalli occasionally. Heavenly champions and noted star cast helped this film to score in Tamil. It won’t acknowledge relative fate in Telugu notwithstanding.
We have seen better terribleness comedies like Prema Katha Chitram recently. In fact Geetanjali emphasizing Anjali is far prevalent than this terribleness parody that fails on various levels. Few unnerving minutes in the first half and enchanting top are the notwithstanding purposes of this film other than astounding champions. The film crashes in the second half with a shocking flashback part that is straight out of eighties movies.
Sundar attempted valiant attempts to draw things again in the midst of the top, yet it is past the final turning point by then. Chandrakala needs interest and takes after a gravely made TV serial once in a while. There aren’t various energizes in this repulsiveness film and the parody is unreasonably stale for our tastes. This film will disregard to startle even the six year olds. Quickly you know what’s in store out of this violence flick, isn’t that so?
Choice: Fails to Frighten!
